Dracula's Speakeasy Cinema Salem · October 16 & 17 Buy tickets

Questions

The questions we hear most, answered.

If yours is not here, write to us and we will answer it.

Where do I buy tickets?

On this site, every performance has a Buy tickets button that takes you straight to the seats for that night on Eventbrite. Pick the night, pick the number of seats, and pay there. Your tickets come back to you by email from Eventbrite.

How much are tickets?

General admission is $55 and VIP is $70, plus Eventbrite's ticket fee, which is shown before you pay. Every seat includes the four cocktails.

Do I have to be 21?

Yes. Every guest is 21 or older and shows a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. That includes the 4 PM matinee.

Are the four drinks included?

Yes. Your seat includes four cocktails, one poured for each chapter of the story: The First Bite, Fresh Blood, The Crypt, and Dracula's Kiss.

I don't drink. Can I still come?

Yes. Every chapter pours without alcohol on request. Tell the bar when you sit down, or write to us before the night, and it is the same glass and the same story.

How long is it?

Ninety minutes. Doors open thirty minutes before the performance.

Where is it?

Cinema Salem, One East India Square, Salem, Massachusetts. We are inside Museum Place, whose doors open onto the Essex Street pedestrian mall, about a minute from the middle of everything.

Which performances are there?

Three. Friday, October 16 at 8 PM, and Saturday, October 17 at 4 PM and again at 8 PM.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive after the first chapter has started we will seat you at the next natural break. Doors open thirty minutes early, and October weekends in Salem take longer than the map says, so give yourself that time.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, up to 7 days before your performance. Request it from your Eventbrite order and the refund goes back to your card. Inside seven days the seats are yours to keep or pass along; if something has come up, write to us and we will do what we can.

Is there parking?

The Museum Place Garage on New Liberty Street is attached to our building, and the MBTA station garage and the South Harbor Garage are the fallbacks. In October the city recommends the commuter rail from North Station, and so do we.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. Plenty of people dress for the occasion, and you would not be out of place in black.

Is it scary? Will the actors talk to me?

The story plays out around and among the tables, and the cast moves through the room, so yes, someone may speak to you. It is a speakeasy, not a haunted house. Nothing jumps out of a wall.

Can I book a table for a group?

Buy as many seats as you need in one Eventbrite order and tell us the occasion through the question form, so the bar knows before you sit down. For a larger party or a private performance, write to us and we will build a night around you.

I need an accommodation.

Write to us through the question form before the night with what you need, and we will have it ready before you arrive.

Where is my ticket?

Your tickets are in the confirmation email from Eventbrite and in the Eventbrite app under Tickets. Each ticket has its own QR code; show it at the door on your screen or printed. If the email is gone, Eventbrite can find your order by the address you used.
